remove search query length limit for FTSearch and other searches (or enlarge it)

The length of search queries is limited to 128(?) characters, and if you give more characters (e.g. in Java), you get no exception, but the String is just cut at position 128(?): Please remove this limit, or set it to e.g 1KB or more.

If it is not possible to change this limit, throw an exception, if the String is too long, instead of silent cut.
