HTMO Desktop Notification for incoming email

It has been noticed that there's no such default desktop notifications coming for incoming mail on HTMO.

It would be good to support this natively (no rule required, Windows notification, Outlook Program icon shows new mail/icon in notification area).

This is a known limitation and a workaround is available in the release notes. (https://help.hcltechsw.com/htmo/3.0.0/use_HTMO_mail_issues.html)

When new mail arrives, a pop-up notification isn't shown.

To work around this issue, create a rule:

    1. From the Home tab, click Rules.

    2. Select Manage Rules & Alerts.

    3. Click New Rule.

    4. Select Apply rule on messages I receive.

    5. Click Next.

    6. Click Next.

    7. When you see the message This rule will be applied to every message you receive. Is this correct? click Yes.

    8. Select Display a Desktop Alert.

    9. If you see the message The rule you are creating can never be edited in previous versions of Outlook... click Yes.

    10. Click Finish.

    11. Click Apply.

    12. Click OK.

Marking as "No Plans to Implement".
