Ability to move sent emails to respective folder to have all communication at one place, not only Incoming Emails

Improvement in folder structure using HTMO outlook client.


Microsoft Outlook client allow user to move the sent emails to any respective folder. But the architecture of Notes application will not allow to do this cause in Notes term sent and all document is view and not a folder.


When user use HTMO outlook client to move sent email to respective folder, it get move initially but again it get back to sent folder in Outlook only, means no move of the selected Email.

To have a proper structure it would be great to have not only incoming Emails in related folder (customer A or B or, ....). Instead it makes only sense if sent Emails are also possible to move to there.

    Timothy, you mean it is a limitation of HCL Traveller for Outlook only, isn´t it? For example, if I have a folder for "HCL communication", I can move all incoming emails into this folder but not the outgoing ones, unfortunately. Means the history of this folder is never complete. With the original MS Outlook it works without problems.

    This is already possible in Notes/Verse but it's a limitation of Outlook that I don't think we can change.

    You can ADD any document to any Folder, and thus achieve what you want. Comparing Outlook here is a farce, outlook can ONLY have a document in ONE Folder. Notes can have a Document in MANY Folders.
