Allow HCAA to use @MailSend even when the users does not have a mailfile

There are instances that the customers would be using HCAA and choose not to use Notes client as their main mail application. In this case, users would be created without mail files. However, with the use of @MailSend in order to send mail notifications, it will not work as it would be looking for the mail.box. (Error message: "File does not exist: mail.box").

The HCL Support posted this idea because I opened a case about this problem. What bother me, is that I am not asking for an enhancement, but for a bug fix ?

Many companies use Domino as a application server only, and not for messaging. But the Notes/HCAA clients are designed to not create the mail.box file for users without mail file, and thus to not allow to send notifications by default. The IT guy has to configure this manually for every new user (no policy could help neither).

Though this behaviour has been so for decades, I could never understand why the Notes client (and even more HCAA) has no smooth configuration without a personal mail file ?
