Moving idea to product : Domino Designer
Switch index on header click: Sometimes sorting by column is simply not sufficient. It would be helpful if one could also specify secondary sort columns - or even categorise on header click.
Multiple views sharing their index: Yes this is disk space. And refresh time on opening a view
And I forgot one point: Coded indexes that are not based on documents but on Java or LS code (that MAY lead to a document when an entry is clicked - or to some other action)
Can you elaborate the use cases for each ? I think I can guess why you need index without view, but for the other two cases I am puzzled on why they are needed aside from saving disk space.
Definitely a good idea!
