Make DominoDB also available as a Java binding

DominoDB as an NPM module is going to be the gRPC client (and more) to the new API infrastructure based on gRPC.

 

As gRPC is platform agnostic please consider providing direct support (HCL implementation) or alternate support (meaning make gRPC/Proton documented so others can understand it) so we can get a Java based gRPC/DominoDB implementation.

 

Node is fine but modern Java / Reactive Java / Java languages can (and would) allow developers and orgs with a Java skillset to exploit the new goodnees (present and future) and reuse work they already built.

      Good - AppFusions has offered to assist in this so it is available sooner than later - to me, this is a base minimum. We have an SDK project for our platform  in play right now, and this came up in discussions for a Domino app sample app (“service”) to work

      gRPC is cool, and I would like to take DominoDB NPM as the start point to use this gRPC channel. We definitely need to enable Java App to talk to Domino through this channel.
