Compatibility is important, so although we're working towards the goal to break up with existing limits, it will not be a standalone nsf type. Setting this idea to will not implent because it suggests to not provide backward compatibility.
Moving idea to product : Domino Designer
I wonder if a JSON only data store would be able to provide the level of security, that a current Notes DB does. Therefore, a Notes DB covers a different use case than a Mongo DB does.
