to develop a tool that would be able to delete that specific field in the desktop8.ndk

Recently changed or moved or decommissioned servers.

Several old server names still display in the Admin client under File --> Open Server.  or in the Notes client " File > Open > Lotus Notes application " dialog.

These server names are cached in the Desxktop6.ndk  or desktop8.ndk.

This is because the old sever name is saved in the desktop8.ndk / desktop6.ndk in the client, any server that was opened from the client, the name is cached in this           file, and the only

Customer would like a tool that would be able to delete that specific field in the desktop8.ndk

Enhancement request already Available SPR # JRGE7V2G27 for Notes 8.5 but this is still continue with Notes 9.0, Notes 9.0.1 and Notes 10.0.1

Public Workaround:

Remedy is to create a new one if you need to get rid of the old server name that is still showing.

To do so delete the existing desktop8.ndk on the local machine, located in the data folder directory.

keep in mind that when this is deleted, the workspace folder will be empty, no icons of DB's will be there.
