In Notes 9.0.1, there was no restriction for file format support in File Attachment Viewer. All file format attachment can be view (Enabled View option) once right click on the attachment file.
There are architectural changes in Notes V10.0.1 due to the version upgrade. There will be limited functionality in Attachment file viewer capabilities.
Only limited file format can be view in Notes 10.0.1

expectation is to add other file formats like .pdf, .oft, etc which was supported with Notes 9.0.1.
