Allow to set any database as a welcome page on a Notes Client via Notes Policy Settings

Create an easy-to-use Mechanism which allows that any Domino Database could be set as a welcome page via Notes policies.

Without using the Bookmark.ntf/nsf template/database as described in the following article:

Setting the users "Mail" as homepage would be great.

It can be done from the client - but not distributed via Policy...

StartupDB entry does not help, as the database is not started in the first tab of the Notes client, at least not in all cases. Also, the StartupDB parameter can lead to the effect that the Database set (using the StartupDB entry) is started more than once, depending on the other Notes Client settings set and the user behaviour.

Any Domino database which a Notes client/user has access to. For example, a custom Domino database which the customer would like to use as a Homepage.

But there is already a notes.ini StartupDB entry available, that can be distributed via policy. Also a database can be distributed via policy.

Yes, a database which would be opened at startup. This Database should always be in the first tab or register and be opened only once.
