Welcome to the #dominoforever Product Ideas Forum! The place where you can submit product ideas and enhancement request. We encourage you to participate by voting on, commenting on, and creating new ideas. All new ideas will be evaluated by HCL Product Management & Engineering teams, and the next steps will be communicated. While not all submitted ideas will be executed upon, community feedback will play a key role in influencing which ideas are and when they will be implemented.

Properties Box: Sections "Document" and "Database" should depend on access rights

Database acl should have an attribute "Show properties" that allows showing the sections "Document" and "Database" in the properties box. This attribute should be set by default for "Designer" and "Administrator". For all other access levels it would default to not set. And it should default to set for all existing databases.

For users without the attribute set these sections should be hidden in the properties box.

Maybe this should only prevent to show the fields. Hidden design is not always an option. Why not prevent this via ACL?

It is useful to provide this information to end users, e.g. to show metadata of the socument or the file name etc of the NSF . If you want to hide the field named you can enable „hide database design“
