Automatic Configuration of Notes Client

We are deploying new laptops to our users and this would take much time since we have to pull the IDs manually to their machines. We have an ID vault prepared and stored in Hub Server.


We want it to have a feature where the ID files can be pulled out automatically from the ID vault in the Hub Server.

    Hello,

    Can you give more details?

    As long as the ID Vault server is reachable from the client (directly, not with passthrough) and the ID is in the vault, download will happen (if policy allows).

    Note that you can add ID Vault replica's (not using the replicate option, but the ID Vault administration tool) accross your domain, if you have servers all around the world...

    Also for the client configuration, you can deploy configuration file with it, so the basic information is automatically filled in, during set-up. In the best case scenario, you get prompted for the password, without entering any other set-up information and the client is started.
