Add Chrome in Desktop Policy setting as default browser like IE or Firefox instead of set other and provide the full path
Our department is going to change the default Windows web browser from IE to Google Chrome to all system including Windows OS and applications. Web site link in user's email body is opened by the location setting in Lotus Notes client (basic client) but after our study that it is able to set the default browser to Chrome by Desktop policy. However, we observed that the Desktop Setting for Chrome is different with IE and Firefox that we need to provide the full Chrome installation path which is not feasible in our department. And, Google Chrome's default installation path is changed recent that unable to change / custom the installation path. In previous Chrome default installation path is "C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe" but recent the installation default path is changed to "C:\Program Files\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe".
User may encounter fail to invoke profile that is not acceptable to user and bad user experience.
So we strongly request HCL could fix the Desktop Setting in Notes policy to set Chrome browser as default as same as IE or Firefox without providing the full installation path.
