Sometimes you have an event on one day and you would like to prepare things for it a day in advance. So you set the alarm for this event accordingly. Works well, and you could prepare everything fine.
But on the next day you get a lot of phone calls and .... BANG! ... you get a phone call and someone asks you why you do not attend the meeting that's already running since 15 minutes ... you have forgotten it, as there you have forgotten to change the alarm to i.e. 30 minutes before to get a 2. alarm.
Because of this scenario or a similar one, I think it would make sense to allow to have 2 alarms for a calendar event. No need for a default 2. alarm, just the option to use one if needed. Then one can prepare everything in advance and has not to worry about problems as described above.
