Option to have two or more alternate names for "Enable Alternate From" Feature

This will allow the sender to set and use two or more alternate names when sending mails.

it will also enable admin to set the limit on how many alternate names can be added per user

Additionally, there should be an option for users of a standard mail file a way to add alternatives addresses for the "From" field aside from Mail-in db name/Person Document.

This will be a very useful feature. One use case is where the Notes mail user is receiving (via POP or IMAP) mails from several webmail services (e.g. gmail.com, live.com, etc.) into their single Notes mail database. Many users now have these "multiple identities" and wish to manage all their emails within the one Notes mail file.

This feature will allow the user to specify which one of several "identities" they wish to have shown as the sender address on emails they send out.

The list of alternate names (really alternate email addresses) could simply be unlimited and user controlled (my preference), or it could be drawn from the Account documents in the user's Address Book, with a maximum number specified by policy document if desired by administrators.

I still regard the Notes client as the best, most capable email client there is. As someone who manages numerous email accounts with various webmail services, it is very useful to be able to work with ALL my emails in the one Notes database. With additional support for multiple email accounts such as this feature, we will be closer to having the Notes email file as the one email "to rule them all".

    Many thanks.
