Here: Just moved on from developing in 9 to developing in 12 for my Customers, who are
on Version 9 or 10 or 11. I do belave that many Partners are in the same situations.
Way more attractive than your suggestion to go for the command line seams to me to use .ns8 in this case (which I did). But this will be most likely soon enough not an good option soon enough down the road for the future.
Additionaly I think there is way to much features one 'has to know' not in the menues which made me post this wish as done. - And therefore, instead of wishing on the ods version conversion for .ns9 .ns10. ns11 I thought this makes more sense in the menu.
Expecting a developer to find something in Admin feels not like a good idea (I had in mind that something liket this exists).
Why would anybody want to allow a user to choose the ODS?
In the rare situation that someone really REALLY needs to create a (local) copy of a database that can be opened with a backlevel Notes client this is something that can be done by using compact -r

Yes, and while we're at it, please also allow the same with 'Application > New...'.
