In general i also prefer the older UI style, where you could easily identify a button as such. However, with regards to the placement of the buttons, there doesn't seem to be much difference between Notes and Outlook.
HCL Notes Desktop Client: Buttons for "New Mail" and for "Send" are on top left.
HCL Verse Web UI: Button for "New Mail" is on top left. Button for "Send" is on lower right.
Outlook Desktop Client: Buttons for "New Mail" and for "Send" are on top left
Outlook Web: Button for "New Mail" is on top left. Button for "Send" is on lower left.
Please don't create the 'clutter' found in Microsoft apps HCL. The clean look of Notes is far superior.
How strange, looks fine to me, top left where they have always been?
Agree, and i want to dive into it a little bit deeper. HCL Verse "Send" button is totally out of place. We use large curved monitors, and believe me....they are getting larger. The SEND button is now totally out of sight. Why not on top of the message like Notes and iNotes? Make the buttons bigger and placed logically across all clients.
I would totally agree with this. Mailbox buttons used to stand out, making it easy to find them. Now it is much harder to do so. If you compare Notes and Outlook 365, the latter wins hands down and is much easier to use.
Will HCL please look at this as a matter of urgency. Even the webmail client is easier to navigate than the Notes client, which should not be the case!
