HCL Domino Ideas Portal

Welcome to the #dominoforever Product Ideas Forum! The place where you can submit product ideas and enhancement request. We encourage you to participate by voting on, commenting on, and creating new ideas. All new ideas will be evaluated by HCL Product Management & Engineering teams, and the next steps will be communicated. While not all submitted ideas will be executed upon, community feedback will play a key role in influencing which ideas are and when they will be implemented.

When viewing another user's calendar schedule, hide the folder details.

The Read public documents permission is added to the ACL (Access Control list) of each mail DB so that it can be referred to other users' schedules. Despite this restriction, it has been found that when accessing the other mail DB, the folder name created by the database owner can be referenced. The customer doesn't want the folder names to be visible created by database owner.

When viewing another user's calendar, there is currently no way to hide the folder names created by the user in their mailfile. As a result, the mail template should include a setting to hide the folder.

It's possible to do this now.

From you inbox choose "More" "Preferences..."

    Then "Mail" "Basics"

there's an option "Prohibit access to folders for users....."
