How to configure SSO for the Notes client v10 along with the Azure SSO

Hello Team,

We have a requirement for the below scenarios.

Customer is using Azure cloud and wants to implement azure SSO on IBM Notes.

Customer is expected that users will login to Azure VM with Azure SSO and then if they open the IBM Notes it will login the user in the IBM Notes system with the same SSO and without the need of lotus notes id file, it should not prompt for any password as well.

IBM Notes is hosted in Azure cloud environment.

IBM Notes v10.0.1 FP2 in use currently where NSL policy was implemented for the windows users only.

There are 3 policies at present, NSL policy- For windows users, 90 days Password policy - for MAC users, BotPolicy for data export into external system by BOT id.

Customer wants to explore using Azure for SSO as this will eliminate the binding to a machine when ID file is setup.

Kindly let us know does the current version of Notes i.e., v10 will support the Azure SSO or do we need to upgrade the Notes to v12 for the SSO to be working.

Suppose customer upgrade the Notes to v12, then will the Azure SSO will work with the Notes 12, if it works then what is the process/configuration/setup required?

Note: Customer is using client applications only, there are no web applications. Users those who are using Azure VM are in roaming profile.

Regards,

Madhusudan Nandi
