Let "Go to last opened document" on notes view really work

When in the Notes View attributes the "Go to last opened document" is selected (instead of "Go to Last/First Document") what is highlighted is not the same document but the same past position in the view.
For example, in my mail, if I select the forth document, close the folder, two new mails arrives, then reopen the same folder the former second, now forth will be selected. The previous selected document is now the 6th but is not highlighted any more.

In case of the mail that uses the preview document it involves the unwanted application of the read mark on the fresh higlighted document, very frustating.

It would eventually be nice to have the possibility to set the "Don't highlight any document" in the Notes View attributes.

    This is working as designed. We have no plans to change this behaviour.
