Also search results are limited per database (50) while there is no indication that the results are capped.
We can increase the max-results-per-database (AMAA_SEARCH_MAX_RESULTS), but we need an indication that the results are capped and the search was too wide.
Yes it's possible but results are not in proper format and it's really difficult to identify mail from there .like we can't identify if mail is into sent box or inbox . Word is not highlighted which we have searched . Sorting is not datewise . So due to all above user need to identify mail from search result on his own .
For default we can search from body only and subject / from option only highlighted if we search once .
So I just want to know is there any possibility where it will be easy for user to identify mail immediatly with highlighed field or inbox/sent folder information ini search result ?
Just take a look at the top right corner of the Notes client - there is a search option that allows searching all mail and archives at the same time.
Searching your active mailfile as well as your mail archive in a single run is already possible in the Notes 9 client.
