"Stop 'Re:' from adding to the Subject field when replying to a message." is not desirable. It is the prefix of the subject should reflect the action of the current user. If the user reply then it is" Re:". If the user forward then it is "Fw:". All previous prefixes added before should be taken out.
My idea is to add "Re: " or "Fwd" depending on the user's action reply or forward but remove all previous instances of "Re: " or "Fwd" already in the Subject.
Some customers want this really.
Also affects forward mail messages, Especially for emails in Simplified Chinese or Traditional Chinese, reply/forward multiple times, it add too many 回复:回复:回复:回复:回复:回复:
