We have identified a critical need for enhancing the Notes Standard Client available for macOS. Currently, while the client is functional for basic use, it lacks the essential Admin/Designer feature that is readily available in the Windows version.
Our end users, particularly those operating on macOS, require the ability to develop new features within the Notes environment. However, this capability is currently absent, hindering their productivity and limiting the full potential of the macOS platform.
To address this issue, we are requesting the implementation of Admin/Designer functionality specifically tailored for the macOS version of the Notes Standard Client. This enhancement would empower our users to efficiently create and customize features within the macOS environment, aligning with their workflow requirements.
While we acknowledge the existence of Nomad web as an alternative, it is imperative to note that it does not fully meet our needs. Nomad web, although offering Designer capabilities, comes with inherent limitations as outlined in the documentation provided (https://help.hcltechsw.com/nomad/1.0_web/nomad_web_limitations.html#nomad_web_limitations__ul_cdm_pbq_rzb). These limitations restrict the seamless utilization of the Designer feature, rendering it less effective for our purposes.
Therefore, we emphasize the importance of implementing Admin/Designer functionality directly into the macOS Notes Standard Client to ensure a comprehensive and efficient solution for our users.
