CSV Export & Import Features for Email Documents in Notes Client

It has been requested that a feature be implemented in the Notes client to allow for the export and import of email documents to and from CSV files, similar to the functionality currently available in Microsoft Outlook.

Outlook provides users with the capability to export emails, including all relevant fields such as Subject, From, To, Cc, Bcc, Date, and Body, into CSV format. This feature is extremely useful for data analysis, archiving, and transferring email data across different platforms. It significantly enhances productivity by allowing users to manage their email data in a structured and flexible manner.

Currently, Notes does not offer a built-in feature for exporting and importing email documents in CSV format. Implementing this functionality in the Notes client would provide users with a similar level of flexibility and convenience as Outlook users. It would allow for easier data migration, better data management, and the ability to utilize email data for various analytical purposes.

Specifically, it is requested that the Notes client be enhanced to include:

  1. CSV Export Functionality: The ability to export selected email documents to a CSV file, including fields such as Subject, From, To, Cc, Bcc, Date, and Body.

  2. CSV Import Functionality: The ability to import email data from a CSV file into the Notes client, mapping the CSV fields to the corresponding email fields in Notes.

These enhancements would greatly improve the user experience and provide a valuable tool for managing and analyzing email data. This feature would be a significant addition to the Notes client, aligning it more closely with the capabilities offered by Outlook.
