Automatic Conversion of Drag-and-Drop Email Attachments to .eml Format for External Recipients in Notes Client

Currently, when an email is dragged and dropped into a new email in Notes, it is attached as a link. External recipients cannot access this attachment due to database access restrictions.

The customer requests an enhancement that should allow the user to drag and drop the email as an attachment directly in the email without saving the attachment on the desktop and then re-attaching it. This would enable the recipient to open the email without access issues.

I completely agree. For us, we also want to store emails in Notes project databases in a rich text field and since we have a limit on our emails, we would like to relieve the load on the mailbox. But that doesn't work with a link. It would be very helpful if the EML file could be placed in the rich text field using drag & drop. Maybe the feature can also be solved with a switch File Link or EML!
