Duplicate Email Sent to Recipient When Forwarding and Editing the Same Sent Item Email

Users report that recipients receive duplicate emails when a sent email is both forwarded and edited.

The scenario unfolds as follows:

  1. The user goes to Sent Items, selects an email, and forwards it by adding a recipient address.

  2. The user then opens the same email in Sent Items and places it in edit mode, without changing the recipient address.

  3. Upon sending the forwarded email and selecting "Send and Save" in the popup, only one email appears in the sender's Sent Items, but the recipient receives two copies.

Expected Behavior:
The recipient should receive only one email, matching the single entry in the sender's Sent Items.

Customer wants to avoid this behavior.
