@Thomas, is this feature available without swapping locations? I created a support ticket and the support agents were very clear that this is impossible. They explained that one would need to change their Location Document to one routes mail with 'Directly to Internet' for SMTP. And swap back to the other Location Document that routes mail with 'Through Domino server' to send Domino mail. If this is currently available, can you help me connect with an agent that knows how to do this?
I have created 3 support tickets and none of the agents were able to perform this.
The first told me to create this request.
For the second ticket, since the first guys told me it wasn't possible, I simply requested being able to Send Domino Mail and Receive IMAP AND Domino mail without swapping locations. However, after you closed this request, I asked the second agent about this, and they were only able to Send Domino Mail and Receive IMAP AND Domino mail without swapping locations. They helped me create a the 3rd ticket.
The 3rd agent sent me back to creating an enhancement request after failing to complete this.
I'm not sure what I would have done wrong, but when I added my account through File>Preferences>Accounts>"Add Account", it generated a new application instead integrating it with my current mailbox.
This configured mailbox is able to receive emails; but unless I change send outgoing email (within Locations>Mail) from "through Domino Server" to "directly to internet", the sending fails.
Also, when I do change that setting, my Domino server emails fail.
Hmm, I don't know what I'm missing, but it doesn't work for me. I'm able to setup the mails as separate IMAP mailbox (application) and a Domino mail file.
However, even when separate, it doesn't allow me to send IMAP emails without turning on the "send straight to internet" setting within locations. And if I turn on "send straight to internet", my Domino emails no longer send.
But this is the case since - I don't know - V2, or so. All mail should be in one single mailbox. Looks something is wrong with your routing...
