"Letterhead" Preferences should be context-aware

UX Improvement: Context-Aware Visibility for "Letterhead" Tab in Preferences (Hide when using Modern Themes)


In HCL Notes v12/v14 Standard, the "Letterhead" configuration tab remains active in Preferences > Mail even though Modern Themes (v11/12/14) effectively suppress the feature.


Users attempting to configure a letterhead in a modern theme encounter:

  1. Errors: "Notes error: Invalid or nonexistent document."

  2. Confusion: The UI implies functionality that does not exist, generating unnecessary support tickets during migrations (e.g., from Basic to Standard client).

Make the Mail Preferences menu context-aware based on the active Client Theme:

  • Modern Themes (v11/12/14): Completely hide the "Letterhead" tab.

  • Legacy Theme (Notes 9): Automatically show the tab to support backward compatibility.
