HCL Domino Ideas Portal

Welcome to the #dominoforever Product Ideas Forum! The place where you can submit product ideas and enhancement request. We encourage you to participate by voting on, commenting on, and creating new ideas. All new ideas will be evaluated by HCL Product Management & Engineering teams, and the next steps will be communicated. While not all submitted ideas will be executed upon, community feedback will play a key role in influencing which ideas are and when they will be implemented.

Notes to warn Chair when overbooking a room after it has been initially accepted

(1) Chair creates a meeting on behalf of Chair including a room reservation
(2) Chair invites participants within the room capacity
(3) Chair receives Acceptance notice from the room
(4) Chair later adds more participants exceeding the room capacity

The expected result is: Chair will get an email from the room with a  warning that the room is overbooked (room is still reserved assuming the room is free)

How it works now: Chair will not get any warning.

Request: Notes client to warn the Chair that the number of participants exceed the room capacity via a soft error that would still allow the Chair to proceed if they do not mind overbooking the room (in some cases, the participants are not physically present in the room, thus, the capacity is not affected).

It occurs to me, apart from the notices that are sent, that for the future development in the invitation the capacity of the room will be reflected and so both the owners and the guests have an idea if they exceed the limit of the room.
