Welcome to the #dominoforever Product Ideas Forum! The place where you can submit product ideas and enhancement request. We encourage you to participate by voting on, commenting on, and creating new ideas. All new ideas will be evaluated by HCL Product Management & Engineering teams, and the next steps will be communicated. While not all submitted ideas will be executed upon, community feedback will play a key role in influencing which ideas are and when they will be implemented.

Signed internet mails

SMIME signed mail are often proccessed by security mail applicances. Some of them are only proccesing signed mail with a X.509 certificate and the extension ".cer". Notes sents signed mail with a "p7s" attachment. This is RFC5751 compliant. Anyway these signed mails are dropped by some security mail applicances and there ist no possibility to establish a SMIME encrypted connection.

Solution:

A switch to select the signed internet mail format.
