Allow selection of text in documents in Edit mode

Pain in the bum to have to CTRL-E then copy then back to edit mode

    This must-have feature is common in all GUI (including web browsers). It's not expected by anyone that it's impossible to copy text that is visible on the screen.

Allow copy to clipboard from document in edit mode

As a user I would like to copy text from a document also in edit mode, as this helps me to use already existing text in labels or sections provided in the application.
