Hot-key to show field names on the form

If I'm trying to do a full-text search with field names I have to open up designer and look at the form to get the field names I'm looking for. It would be nice if there were a hot-key that would show the field names next to or near the field on the form.

Providing this is not as easy as it sounds, e.g. not always you have a 1:1 relationship between what you can see and what the datamodel is. fields that are used for input only where the value is stored somewhere else in an hidden field, just take a look at the mail template (appointment form), there are functions that are removing fields during the save event which are being shown to the user.

When using the the full text search bar. there is an option to select fields from the form

However, as you imply, it uses field names that the end user might not be familiar with. It would help if the designer could give a field a "friendly name" and this is displayed here.

Yes I forgot about that. I always thought it was weird that it only shows the field type. I'll vote on yours too.

This idea is similar to one I posted earlier.  The field properties box would be one place to display the name of the field.

Field Properties Should Display the Field Name.

With a document open in the Notes client, a right-click on the field > Field Properties should display the field name in addition to the field type.

This would be helpful for a user trying to perform a search by field.
