Nomad Web connection to application servers through a passthru server

Currently Nomad Web connection to application servers is not possible through a passthru server.

This is required where clients connecting directly to the cloud Domino passthru server and it redirects to on-premise Domino application servers which are not exposed to the internet.

Following workaround available for Nomad for iOS and Android but it does not works for Nomad Web.

"Initial setup of the Nomad client using a passthru server connection document is not currently supported. Once the client's initial setup is complete, a passthru server connection document can be created and Nomad will use the passthru server as expected."

    As Nomad Web uses ID Vault for authentication there is no way to do that with a Domino Passthru Server currently. Even Notes clients need direct access to the IDVault for setup and initial download of the ID File.
    There are no plans to implement that ability in the future, so this scenario is not possible.

    @Timothy.

    It does not already exist.

    There are instances where the SafeLinx server does not have a network connection to all Domino servers in your Domino environment.

    However, the SafeLinx server does have connectivity to a Domino server which acts as a Passthru server to other Domino Servers.

    In these scenarios, we currently have:

    Notes client -> Domino Passthru Server -> Domino Server


    We would like Nomad Web client to support the same, so we would have:

    Nomad Web Client -> SafeLinx Server -> Domino Passthru Server -> Domino Server

    This architecture is already possible using Nomad Web as it is already your passthru server. You do not need another one.
