    This does not work for us as the iPads are used on a farm. If the manager is away then the assistant manager will be using it.

    My understanding in this use case is that SafeLinx is being used as the Nomad server. And based on the support case where this request originated from, SafeLinx is used exclusively with Nomad on iPads/iPhones and users don't want to have to put the name and password every time they access Nomad.

    You can enable biometric authentication in Nomad to unlock your Notes ID instead of typing in a password. Biometric Authentication can be managed by a setting enableBiometricSetup, which is available in both the MDM AppConfig settings and through MarvelClient. When enabled, the user has the option to enable Biometric Authentication. For requirements and considerations in enabling biometric authentication, please refer to the following:
