Welcome to the #dominoforever Product Ideas Forum! The place where you can submit product ideas and enhancement request. We encourage you to participate by voting on, commenting on, and creating new ideas. All new ideas will be evaluated by HCL Product Management & Engineering teams, and the next steps will be communicated. While not all submitted ideas will be executed upon, community feedback will play a key role in influencing which ideas are and when they will be implemented.

Chat and Meetings search capability

Make a search button available in personal chats and groupchats to be able to search for words in the persistent history. Currently you have to scroll up for old chat history but you don't have a way to search for specific words or phrases in the history. Persistent chat should also be used to save information that you can search for later on.

For example i know that 2 month ago i discussed a specific ticket with my team in our groupchat and i want to find out what the discussion was about. Currently i have to scroll up and check every log and am not able to pinpoint the information.

With a search function i could input the ticket id (for example) and sametime could show me when this string was written in the chat. With a click i should be able to jump to that point in the conversation history.

This kind of search should as well work global for all past chats which the current user has been part of. Even the ones that are not displayed to the user in the UI shall bebe part of the search query and the results.

Quick search for recent meetings screen

As a meetings user, I'd like to be able find recent meeting by having a quick search/find field because it will save me time scrolling through the list that can get very very long.
