new status "Home office"

Due to COVID-19, significantly more employees are in the home office on a daily basis. Since personal contact in the business is still desired, the status "Home office" would give a statement that the person is at work, but not in the business, but at home. Currently, when a person logs in to Notes, only the status "I am available" is displayed without taking the current workplace into account. The status "Home office" would be an enrichment here, even if it had to be selected manually, because there would be no meaningful criterion to automate the status message.

    Well, I suggest simply one or more additional free status fields. If filled, these status will be availble for selection. So one user may enter "home office", another simple "on business trip", or whatever.

    In consultation with my Notes specialist, the solution with the location does not work for us because we do not use Notes as a fat client on a device, but in the Citrix environment. In my home office I use a VPN connection to Citrix. So the IP and geolocation settings are not an option with the Sametime Client.

    hi

    we use location for that

    in Sametime Prop the location is recognized automatically.

    --> Use Company Network: your location is "work" or similar and HomeNetwork the location is homeOffice.

    That works great
