An 'instant share' feature using the Meeting Server

The customer is running the latest version of Sametime Community and Meetings.

This customer most wished feature is from Sametime Contacts or from within a chat session start an instant screen sharing to be more productive. Both from Notes embedded ST client and from Web (Verse)

This feature was available in previous Sametime versions, so please can we have this extremely important feature back in future version of Sametime.

Today the Sametime Meeting client is searching for audio/video devices and this search never stops, which makes the client impossible to use for web meetings and/or instant sharing. Due to this issue Sametime Meetings is useless for the customer since most of their PCs have audio/video devices disabled (Security policy). The endless audio/video device search issue has been reported under HCL ticket CS0237871.

    Tested against version 12 server and this area has been improved. With AV all disabled, the meeting starts successfully to screen share. Are warning message will display no AV devices are detected, but it doesn't prevent the meeting from starting.
