For compliance reasons many healthcare and financial companies are required to save all communications for 6 years. This includes emails and chats. Users locally do not need to save or access chats for very long, but on the server side we are required to save all chats. It would be extremely helpful if there was a way to do this in the future. Basically what Domino does with email journaling should be available with Sametime chats.
