Sametime Auto-status with Notes calendar

In Notes calendar, there is an all day entry (8:00AM to 5:00PM) created with calendar type 'Meeting' with marking it as 'Available'. During this time, there is an another meeting scheduled for specific time duration conflicting with the all day meeting entry. With this configuration, Sametime Auto-Status in Notes client is not working as expected. Scheduling a meeting an entire day as 'available' and scheduling meetings within that same time frame is currently not a supported environment for the Sametime auto-status change feature.


We would like to have this feature supported by HCL Sametime.

    The calendar integration in Notes embedded is a calendar read auto-status change. If the "available" time block is a meeting entry, it will read it as a meeting. If Notes had a calendar option to block time without being detected as a meeting, this would need to be the enhancement request.

    In future versions of Sametime, "in-meeting" auto status change will be introduced to provide true in meeting status (if desired).
