Deployment and Usage of HCL Sametime According the BSI Security Policies

Please make sure that Sametime (Meetings and Chat) can be deployed and used according to the BSI Security Policies.


Every containerized software deployed at German (possibly in the whole DACH region) federal customer environments, must meet all "Federal IT Security Guidelines", by the German Federal Cyber Security Authority "BSI", policies for containerized software.

The two BSI security policies, "SYS.1.6 Containerisierung" and "APP.4.4 Kubernetes", that apply here, are only written in German.

Those two mostly align with "Application Container Security Guide" by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and "Kubernetes Hardening Guide" by National Security Agency (NSA) publications.
