whatsapp user experience

The availability to send photos and small videos (like in WhatsApp) from the mobile app with a preview picture into the conversation and of course the possibility to play the video from the Sametime-App directly.
From the Notes- and the Webclient it would be also a nice feature, of course. In a higher version then the ST Entry it's already partly possible, but todays users are expecting this functionality from an entry version.

    In recent versions of HCL Sametime mobile, a preview option is provided for both photos and videos from within the application. Marking this as "shipped" and we'll consider adding this feature to other clients which was also mentioned in this idea. Thanks!

    Yes, this is important. This is require specially when organization's think to replace WhatsApp with Sametime. Users those who are using sametime require these options.
