Provide some way to display Sametime Online status message as part of business card on customer developed database.

Customer developed a database which has user ID field in document and wish to display business card with Sametime online status message. Although business card is displayed , Sametime online message is not displayed. On the same Notes client, Sametime Online status message can be displayed in business card when click user id (mail address) from mail in standard mail database or standard Sametime contact panel.

Customer wish HCL could provide some way to implement the same behavior in standard mail database and standard Sametime contact list panel.

( By the way, even in standard Notes side standard local names.nsf, it cannot display play Sametime online message.)

Need more details on how the application is enabling this. Is it requesting business card information from the Sametime Server? Or is it displaying the business card from the local users "Contacts) (names.nsf)? The function that Notes uses for standard inbox and calendar user awareness needs to be used in custom applications.

Once this is clarify, this will be a Notes enhancement as Sametime does not control how the requests are made, the Notes Client does.
