There is nothing HCL can add as a dialogon Apple mail.
But the Apple mail client should prompt for a new password, when the password changed.
You need to configure basic authentication for the /traveler URL. Only with basic authentication, the client can detect that the password changed.
You configure multi-server session based authentication in an internet site and the Traveler should automatically configure an override authentication rule for the /traveler URL. That's documented in the Traveler admin guide.
