Enhance rules engine and/or fomulas for easy setting/clearing other fields without programming JavaScript

For the citizen developer it should be easy to manipulate field values without the need to learn JavaScript - at least for the most frequent tasks.

One use case is setting field values or clearing fields, when certain conditions are fulfilled - a kind of "if ... then set value of field X to value Y".

With rules you can define the "if" condition, but the action "set value" is missing.

With formulas you can assign values, but can't do it conditionally.

Find a way to combine these features to empower the citizen developer to do more without the need to learn JavaScript.
