I have posted an extension to this idea today - defining components by using the "inherit from design template" property
This would be great, especially for those who want to create a kind of repository or toolbox for the design elements, they use often! This way, they could reuse those elements more easily.
You can duplicate a page (not an entire form), and you can duplicate an item (or a whole section), and drag it to another page.
All within the same app.
So I promoted this idea, as copying between apps could be useful.
