Limit the number of new mail notification sounds to 1 per synchronization.

Since Verse for Android V10, the new mail notification has changed.  It now sends the new notification sound one for each new message that is part of the synchronization. For example, if I have receive three new messages during the synchronization, the sound plays three times. Prior to Verse 10, there would have been only one notification sound. The other day I picked up my phone at 6AM and Verse has not sync’d overnight because I have sync turned off at night. I had received a ton of email overnight and the new mail notification sound play over 90 times. While this an extreme example, there are frequently times when the notification sound plays 9 or 10 times during a sync.  I opened a support case with IBM for this issue and was basically told "too bad, that's just the way it is now".

    I have this issue, and it appears to get worse the longer the device goes between reboots.

    One more annoyance in this.  I'd like to add it to the request but I can't find a way to edit the original.  If I delete a "new" message from my Notes client, before I've acknowledged the "new message" notification on my Android phone, I get even more notifications.  Example, I'm sitting at my desk and I get three pieces of "junk" mail; my Verse notification sound goes off three times.  If I don't acknowledge the notification on my phone, but I delete these messages in my Notes client, I get three more notification sounds on my phone.  If this annoys you as well, please ask all of your friends to add a vote to this request.
