We have been looking at deploying outlook as integration already exists with that client and Avaya tools. So it still is a need we are just looking for alternative ways to do it now.
Verse mobile on iOS will offer to use any application that has registered itself in iOS as being able to dial a phone number. We have tested this with Skype and when we clicked on a phone number in the contacts we get a choice of either dialing the number or sending the number to Skype. As we don't have access to Avaya Equinox, we would not be able to tell if that would be possible or not. We suggest that you test this for your self.

We are moving our entire infrastructure to Avaya equinox and spaces for video conferencing. Would be great to have integration natively into those tools from the client.
Is this still a requirement?
being that we are standardizing with equonix for all our voip and VC meetings it would be nice to have the integration into lotus as well. Out instant messaging functionality is also going to equinox so for us it would be even better to integrate with equinox.
