In Europe, the EU Regulation NIS2 requires MFA or strong authentication for all services. - In other words, BasicAuth is banned.
The alternatives currently are:
Certificate-based Auth: requires third-party MDM, creates a lot of overhead, and is challenging when used with WAF's or Load Balancers
SAML + TOTP: This is a non-solution, as the token expires nearly on a daily basis - at this point the Mobile App will stop receiving further emails, until the user has re-authenticated. Unworkable!
A solution for seamless, modern user experience, and secure at the same time, would be oAuth, that generates a long-lived refresh token in the Verse App. iOS Mail App also has support for this kind of oAuth authentication.

We need this feature for MFA everywhere, also on the mobile devices.
Any news? Do you have any update in which version the OAuth authentication support will be available?
