Encrypted mail sent to any any group(external or internal) mail-ID through IBM Verse throw error.

While sending encrypted mail to any group (external or internal)  mail-ID through IBM Verse app on Iphone, error appears that "Lotus Notes Traveler - Encryption Failed. Your mail with subject "<random>" sent from your device was not delivered.This message has been saved to your drafts folder. The failure(s) are : No public encryption key was found in the Domino directory for <recipient email ID(group mail id)>"

The same behavior is not observed when done through Verse browser on any PC/laptop.

Below are the test results -->

Sending possible to internal group address through PC --> possible

Sending possible to external address through PC --> possible (mail will become unencrypted)

Sending possible to internal group address through mobile --> not possible (error  appears)

Sending possible to external address through mobile --> not possible (error appears)

This limitation is mentioned in Product details. We wish to improve this.

    The same behavior with the following scenarios:

    A user received a Notes encrypted email with several recipients before. One of the recipients was being removed from the Domino Directory which may due to employment termination. Other recipient then performed “Reply ALL” for this notes encrypted message using Verse for Mobile app.


    So customer hope:

    Like Notes client to pop up a message that allow sender to choose for sending out un-encrypted mail to those invalid address, but encrypted mail for other recipients

    Or have another option to skip send to those invalid address and send encrypted for the rest of valid recipients.
