This is not functionality that belongs in Verse, but in Sametime.
I believe this may have been implemented with Sametime V10. IBM/HCL fixed the web Sametime so that it worked a lot better, and moved saving the history to the server. So for the reviewers, this might be one that could be moved to implemented.
